Empower people. Master AI. Show the Golden Path.
You help people use GenAI and agents confidently in their work. Training and sparring sessions are your primary focus. You make new ways of working understandable, practise them with participants and help them apply what they learn. We are looking for you to join the Letsboot core team as a Trainer, Sparring Partner & Builder.
You build and demonstrate Golden Paths and Blueprints: tested, understandable routes from a task to a useful result and reusable foundations for practical work. That means clear requirements, the right context, suitable tools and explicit quality criteria. Participants should understand why an approach works, where its limits are and how to adapt it themselves.
Agentic (Engineering|Product|Leadership|Tech-aligned .*)
The Agentic Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is the core: from product discovery and requirements through architecture and implementation to testing, deployment and operations. Alongside it are tech management, product & requirements engineering, and onboarding other tech-aligned roles into working with GenAI and agents. The wider subject area also includes data science, embedded and platform engineering, and workflow engineering.
You work with software engineers, data scientists, product owners, requirements engineers, scrum masters, platform engineers and technical team leads. Also with people leads, technical recruiters and people in HR or marketing whose work is closely connected to technical products and teams. The technical context of their work is what matters.
Course topics can range from Agentic Embedded Engineering with OpenCode through Agentic Requirements & Product Engineering to Agentic Tech Management. You develop your specialisms and can work with different roles. The starting point can be as simple as a single prompt. When needed, you go as deep as showing participants how to build their own agent harness.
Trainer. Sparring Partner. Builder.
- Develop and deliver training. Create practical courses in German and English. Explain concepts, facilitate discussions and let participants work on real tasks. Feedback and your own experiments continually inform your teaching.
- Sparring as a peer. Listen, question requirements and existing workflows, and try concrete improvements with customer teams. Together, establish which tasks suit AI, how to check results and where human decisions remain necessary.
- Build the foundation of Agentic Empowerment. Build skills, MCP servers, plugins, blueprints and golden paths with us. Create insightful content, labs, exercises and templates that help participants apply what they learn in their own work. Develop our training platform and the internal systems it needs, and help fellow trainers build their learning environments. Building makes our training and sparring sessions more effective and repeatable.
One session might begin with a product owner turning scattered feedback into clear requirements. Another with a data scientist making an analysis workflow verifiable. With an engineering team, you work through code, architecture, tests and CI/CD. You find the right starting point and the technical depth each situation needs.
You guide a junior engineer fresh from vibe-coding land towards a structured way of working with results they can verify. You take a committed GenAI sceptic’s concerns seriously and engage them in trying the new workflow and making it part of their work. And you bridge the gap to the surrounding roles – from management to requirements engineering.
Your toolset spans apps through to your own harness
You move between ChatGPT App, Claude App and Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode including its desktop app and Pi – and your own agent harness when the task calls for it. Your interest in GenAI spans the whole working process: research, understanding, specification, analysis, building, verification and sharing knowledge.
You can build and explain suitable working environments using projects, skills, context and memory, MCP and connectors, APIs, browser automation, custom tools and workflow automation. With custom harnesses, you work with tool calls, agent loops, state management, permissions, human approvals, evals and observability. You make deliberate choices about how much autonomy is appropriate and how to recognise a good result.
You do not need to master every product listed. We expect substantial hands-on experience with several approaches, technical curiosity and the ability to learn new tools quickly. You can show what you have tried, what failed and which working practices you would recommend today.
What you bring
- Several years of hands-on engineering experience and architectural understanding. You can build things yourself, understand existing systems and explain technical decisions. Code, APIs, data, tests and operating software are familiar territory.
- Requirements, product and workflow engineering. You can translate user needs and product goals into clear tasks, structure workflows and formulate testable acceptance criteria. You recognise missing context and assumptions that need resolving first.
- Experience with AI and agents. You use them for demanding tasks and check their results. You can discuss an approach’s quality, effort, cost and risks based on concrete experience.
- Enthusiasm for teaching. You explain clearly, listen carefully and adapt to different levels of experience. You have shared knowledge through training, workshops, mentoring or within your team, and want to make this the focus of your work.
- Confident delivery and flexibility across topics. You lead groups through training and sparring sessions, respond to unexpected questions and adapt the topics and technical depth to participants’ roles and tasks.
- Fluent German and English, spoken and written. You independently deliver training and sparring sessions and write learning materials in both languages. Both are required.
- Initiative and a willingness to learn. You take ownership of your subjects, share what you learn and say openly when you do not yet know something.
Your place at Letsboot
This is a 60–80% position. As part of the core team, you help shape our training portfolio and ways of working. Training and sparring come first; your work on content, tools and the platform creates their foundation. Your technical practice stays directly connected to what you teach others.
The gross annual salary is approximately CHF 130,000 at 100%, or CHF 78,000–104,000 at 60–80%, including variable component in both cases.
We will discuss the specific balance of responsibilities, working location, customer visits and your start together.
