Terms of Services

Disclaimer: This is an informal translation, in case of ambiguity the German version of this text applies.

The following general conditions apply to the participation in Letsboot courses, which are conducted by felixideas GmbH (Baslerstrasse 5a, 4102 Binningen).

Realization

A minimum number of participants is required for each training. If the number of participants is not reached, all participants will be informed at least 14 days in advance and all paid fees will be fully refunded. felixideas GmbH reserves the right to cancel trainings. In this case, all fees already paid will be refunded in full. felixideas GmbH will not be liable for any further expenses or other disadvantages incurred by the participant due to the cancellation.

Course fees / payment deadline

Unless otherwise agreed, payment of the invoice amount must be received in full on the account of felixideas GmbH at least one day before the start of the training.

Participation requirements

The stated prerequisites in the training description on www.letsboot.com must be adhered to. In particular, participants are responsible for bringing a fully functional laptop on which the communicated preparatory work has been carried out. 

Scope of services

The scope of services of a Letsboot course includes the participation in the training and, if noted, related catering services. Not included are possible accommodation or travel costs.

Change of training content

felixideas GmbH reserves the right to adjust the training content slightly on an ongoing basis and also during the implementation - depending on the participants. There is no guarantee that all mentioned topics will be covered to the expected extent.

Change of venue

felixideas GmbH reserves the right to change the venue of the event at short notice in special cases. The venue must not be more than 20km away from the original location.

Cancellations

Cancellation is possible in written form until 21 days before the training. If the cancellation is made after this deadline, 50% of the training fee will be charged. If the cancellation is made before the start of the training, the full amount of the training will be charged in any case. A cancellation is only valid after the participant has received an e-mail confirmation from LetsBoot.com. If the participant is unable to attend due to force majeure or illness, no refund will be made, but if another similar LetsBoot.com training is scheduled, the participant may attend that training if it is not already fully booked. If no further training is planned, also in this case no refund or reimbursement will be made.

Liability and warranty

All trainings are prepared and conducted by felixideas GmbH with the greatest possible care. Any liability for the success of the training as well as any other liability that is not based on intent or gross negligence is excluded. The use of the imparted information is the sole responsibility of each participant. 

Place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Arlesheim BL.

General

Should individual provisions of these general terms and conditions for trainings of felixideas GmbH be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The wholly or partially invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision whose economic success comes as close as possible to that of the invalid provision. The provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply.
