Urs Fässler

Urs Fässler is an Embedded Software Architect currently at iQiliO, where he modernizes C++ and embedded Linux systems and helps companies with CRA-compliant software development. He specializes in test automation (from unit to system tests), documentation-as-code, and the step-by-step modernization of legacy code, including projects with FDA and CRA compliance requirements.

Before that, Urs worked as Technical Lead and Team Lead at bytes at work AG, and as Senior Software Engineer at ESRI (test tooling and infrastructure), CARU (software architecture, BDD/TDD), and bbv Software Services AG, where as a software craftsman and GNU/Linux system architect he worked on connectivity and IoT projects with AWS, Azure, and OPC UA. His career began with stints at B&R Industrie-Automation, aizo ag, as a scientific assistant at ETH Zurich, and as a CERN OpenLab summer student.
