Tore Nestenius

Tore Nestenius is a software developer, architect, consultant, trainer, and Microsoft .NET MVP based in Helsingborg, Sweden. His technology journey began at age 11 with programming classes, leading him to reverse-engineer the Sega Megadrive console and later create Programmers Heaven, one of the largest online developer communities of its time.


Tore specializes in .NET, architecture, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS/Event Sourcing, web security, and OpenID Connect. He has created many open-source projects, including the Cloud Debugger for Azure, and published a free C# School ebook. He frequently blogs about authentication, .NET, and Azure on his blog and is co-organizer of the .NET Skåne meetup group.


Since 2025, Tore has been working as a technical trainer at Letsboot, where he shares his knowledge in advanced .NET / C# development. Currently, Tore is an independent consultant and instructor, focusing on building and modernizing systems and sharing knowledge.
