Marius Högger helped build the Swiss AI Hub at bbv Software Services as core engineer and solution architect, an open-source platform for self-hosted enterprise AI with agent runtime, RAG pipeline, evaluation and tracing. He has given more than 30 talks, webinars and workshops on LLMs, AI agents, MCP and AI infrastructure, the largest for around 2,000 people at the Azure Cosmos DB Conference 2025.

He helps companies take AI from idea to production, from the first use-case workshop to the platform underneath. His focus is MCP, RAG and context engineering, evaluation, and AI in software engineering. He works with Claude Code every day, with his own skills, agents and hooks. With was-ist-mcp.ch he explains MCP clearly in German for everyone who uses AI.

He studied physics at ETH Zurich and completed degrees in informatics and economics and a master’s in economics and computation at the University of Zurich, where he also researched neural networks for Bayesian optimization as a research assistant. During his studies he co-founded PolygonSoftware with two fellow students and grew the team to 18 people. He joined bbv as a .NET and Azure software engineer and co-founded the AI team that became its own division. Together with Joel Barmettler he co-hosts the AI podcast Attention Heads.

At letsboot he teaches Claude Code for Beginners, a one-day course for technically interested people without a developer background. He shows step by step how to get your own tasks done with Claude Code.
