Christian Wörz

Christian Wörz is a Microsoft MVP, an Oracle ACE for Java and has been a fullstack engineer for over 15 years. He started out in the Java backend and has spent the last nine years equally at home in the frontend — Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript. That combination makes him a trainer who can walk an application from the database to the browser without stopping at a layer boundary.

Since January 2022 he has been a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Suva, working on both frontend and backend with Angular, Spring Boot and Kubernetes. Before that he held the same role at Die Mobiliar and Helsana. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from ZHAW. Whatever he teaches on Friday is back in production on Monday.

Christian is also one of the most active speakers in the Swiss community: Sessionize named him “Most Active Speaker” in 2023, 2024 and 2025, and he has given his talks on Java, Kotlin, TypeScript and frontend architecture at NDC Oslo, Øredev, the WeAreDevelopers World Congress, the Copenhagen Developers Festival, Build Stuff and JCON, among others. On YouTube he reaches more than 8,000 subscribers, alongside his articles and his own open source projects.

At letsboot he runs trainings on putting AI to productive use in software engineering — pragmatic, grounded in daily project work, and with plenty of live coding instead of slide decks.
